  2. Research Question • This is what you want to know what you are trying to figure out. Also it can not be an opinion and it has to be testable. • Ex: Does tomato juice boil faster than water ? Will skittles dissolve faster in lemon juice than in water?

  3. Hypothesis • The hypothesis is where you make an educated guess with and if and then statement. • Ex: If I were to put the tomato juice to boil then it will dissolve faster than the water. If I were to put the skittles in the lemon juice then it will dissolve faster than in water.

  4. Variables This is where you put your IV,DV,& CV. IV- is the independent variable where you change something in the experiment DV- is the dependent variable where it is the result of what you changed CV-stays the same Ex: IV- (type of liquid) lemon juice/water DV-which dissolves the skittle faster CV-skittle

  5. Procedure • The procedure is when you right step by step of what you did so other people can do the same thing and it comes out the way its suppose to.

  6. Chart and Data • This is where you make your data of what happen and then you start making you chart ,and then your graph. • (line graph when time is involved) • Bar graph when there is no time involved)

  7. Conclusion • This is where you summarize your work. You tell people if your hypothesis was correct. Also if it was a line or bar graph. If it was a line graph then you say if it was a positive or negative relationship.
