  2. Transition and Conflict • aggression exists in all of us in various forms, and it burdens the war and post-war societies, as well as in the most developed countries in the world, it is necessary for us to mutually consider all possibilities for overcoming it. mr.sc.: Marija Rašan-Križanac

Transition and Conflict it is necessary to ask ourselves about the realistic planetary living conditions – continually enlightening the complete cause and effect actions which have created the modern social relations. we should think through possible ways of reforming the social relation of aggression into conciliation and true co-life mr.sc.: Marija Rašan-Križanac

Philosophy of peace • Our possibilities for restoring peace are the same as those we use in aggression. • building peace would mean the continuous reform of aggression into creative actions, and discovering the endless possibilities of a co-life of diversities in a harmonious relation with the community. mr.sc.: Marija Rašan-Križanac

Philosophy of peace • The deep existential truth lies in the fact that: “the existence of a being and its fate is connected to the existence and fate of another being: man can be complete and happy only when he is complete and happy with whom he lives with in the community”. Education and peace • Along with all of rules and regulations in the school system, the fact is that violence in schools is dramatically rising. • It is to be expected that this student violence will in the future grow into even greater violence in – maybe a different form. • This means that the approach to education is not good, the rules that are being implemented are inefficient, and that the outcome of education is questionable. mr.sc.: Marija Rašan-Križanac

We should implement in our educational system:respecting the past and preserving human lifeaffirming human equalityexpanding solidarity to all peoplefreeing and affirming human characteristicssearching for the truthaccomplishments of human goodnessimplementing moral principles in everyday life and in legislative norms.(I. Peace in man – through personal growth and development • Voluntary slavery imposed by consumerism presents a state in which most of the developed world lives in today. • All disproportion, frustrations and fears of modern man can be explained with an emotional and spiritual emptiness which comes over us when we are not able to reform ourselves into a harmonious person mr.sc.: Marija Rašan-Križanac
