  2. Large Events Homecoming/ Dance • Environmental theme • R&S and other prizes for “best”s • Environmental songs (ex. Big Yellow Taxi)

  3. Large Events Silent / Live Auction • R&S and school sponsored prizes • Kids find sponsors • Include: a date; movie night; golf packages; healthy cooking; kids classes; etc. • All proceeds to trees

  4. Large Events Games Day • Pledges (over 25 RMB) • Kids get day off • Prize-based level sponsorship • Zones: track & field, swimming, basketball, ping pong • Pizza/ Hotdog lunch sponsored

  5. Large Events Parents Appreciation Dinner • Student workers (new skills) • School venue (gym/cafeteria) • 38RMB/plate plus alcoholic drinks (free-flow non-alcoholic) • Chinese/Western options; BYOU • Entertainment (choir, acting club, etc.) • 50/50 Draw, raffle, etc. • Memorable Music

  6. Large Events Movie Night/ Kareoke Night/ Pancake Breakfast • Gymnasium/ Cafeteria location • Entrance or plate= 25RMB (popcorn extra) • Need: projector and sofas, Playstation machine, or girdle and utensils • Separate nights for juniors/seniors • Themed

  7. Medium Events Display booth at a festival • Sell student crafts • Sell R&S merchandise • Include: flags, banners, brochures • Create environmental games • Remember: Have fun!

  8. Small activities Bake sales • Food or Drink during breaks • Homemade is most environmentally friendly and tasty! • Describe contents for allergies • High-traffic location • Administrative permission

  9. Small Activities Door-to-door informing • 5-minute information to class • Create a show • Use humour • Introduce new concept/event • Keep it brief!
