  19. I don't search for bland kind of beauty, but for strength and emotion... I don't focus on anatomy because there is poetry in imperfection. Knowing when to stop in order to avoid spoiling the sculpture demands vigilance. The grain of chamotte clay helps me to maintain a course finish. I would evern like to enhance this "incomplete" look further. The essence of life is not found on the body's surface but deep inside. It would be futile to smooth and refine the life out of my work. The absence of a detailed physique makes the spirit more visible. Jurga
