The Pináculo Viewpoint(Bus 2,39) Funchal, thanks to its orography in the form of an amphitheatre is a city with many viewpoints. Some of them were created specifically for this purpose, others arise spontaneously, between alleys and corners of houses.

The Vale das Neves viewpoint, Sao Gonçalo Funchal, located just above the Pináculo Viewpoint, a share of the altitude of 300 meters. The pinheira tree are ex-libris of that space(Bus 2,39)
The Quinta Vigia Viewpoint is part of this historic estate, which houses the official residence of the President of the Regional Government. Its view extends from the Funchal bay to Garajau. The gardens of the quinta are open to the public, being mainly visited by foreign tourists, surprised by the botanical diversity they find here.
This viewpoint, officially opened in 1936, is one of the oldest in the municipality. It is part of Quinta das Cruzes, a space which, according to history, was inhabited by João Gonçalves Zarco, the navigator who discovered the island and who later became Funchal's first captain. The Quinta das Cruzes Viewpoint stands out for the diversity of its flora, with a wide collection of endemic and exotic plants
