  4. God, through His grace, warned her – • “We will destroy this place . . . Escape for your life . . . Do not look behind you" (Gen. 19:12-17). W. 65th St church of Christ / September 10, 2006

  5. God is NOT willing that ANY should perish!! (2 Pet 3:9-12) • However - Hell is a REAL place!!! - (Matt. 18:8.9; 25:46; Luke 16:24) • God will REALLY send people there!!! (Mat 7:21-23; 25:46; 2 Thes. 1:7-9; Rev 21:8) W. 65th St church of Christ / September 10, 2006

  6. God will destroy this world and condemn the unrighteous!! (Mat 7:21-23; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Rev 21:8; 2 Thes 1:7-9) The Immoral – adulterers – fornicators – homosexuals – etc. The Ungodly – murderers – thieves – idolaters – sorcerers – liars – false teachers . . . The Disobedient – rebels – hypocrites – deceived – ignorant – those who do NOT obey the gospel. W. 65th St church of Christ / September 10, 2006

  7. God will destroy this world and condemn the unrighteous!! (Mat 7:21-23; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; Rev 21:8; 2 Thes 1:7-9) • BUT YOU CAN ESCAPE!!   13. Sin separates one from God – Is 59:1,2 • The wages of sin is DEATH! – Rom 6:23; James 1:13-15 • Those guilty of sin on the day of judgment will be cast into the lake which burns with fire – Rev 21:8 W. 65th St church of Christ / September 10, 2006

  14. Sin CAN & MUST be forgiven!! • The alien sinner is forgiven when he/she by faith obeys the gospel – Acts 2:38; Col. 2:11-13 • The Christian who sins is forgiven when he/she confesses, repents & prays – Acts 8:18-24; 1 John 1:9 W. 65th St church of Christ / September 10, 2006

A divided heart – Mat 6:19-24 • A lack of conviction – Num. 14:1-4; Heb 10:38,39 • A lack of commitment – Jer 6:16; Jos 24:15; 1 Tim 1:12 Luke 9:62 (NKJV) But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."
