ETQA intends to standardize learning material to enhance quality of delivery
Process commenced in 2006 but was not finalised
2008 Project was resumed

ETQA currently experiencing certification backlog dating from 2005
“Project certification backlog” seen as a way out
Project to be carried out on a three month basis

Develop instruments to identify problems
Gather data from employers, providers and learners
Categorize data presented
Identify intervention measures for each category
Operationalise intervention measures

Should have been audited by the ETQA
Has full accreditation in the desired qualification or skills register
Has proven track record as a training institution
Has a functional Quality Management System

14. PROCESS OF RECOGNITION AS A TRADE TEST CENTRE Contact regional office to express interest
Submit all required supporting documentation to regional office
Regional office evaluates documentation, conducts site visits and recommends to ETQA for recognition
