Friends of Malaysia, Singapore & Australia presents: An Evening with RAJA PETRA KAMARUDIN (RPK) Fundraiser for the Malaysian Civil Liberties Movement 3 March 2011 7.30 pm Hedley Bull Centre (Bldg 130) Room 3 Seminar Room Australian National University Suggested donation: $25 minimum *light halal refreshments provided Contact/RSVP: Gaik Cheng Khoo (gaikcheng.khoo@anu.edu.au) tel: 6125 8472 Gregore Lopez (gregore.lopez@anu.edu.au) More info: http://www.facebook.com/msafriends http://mclm.org.uk/ You’ve read him on screen, now meet him face to face. Very few Malaysians today, conscious of the country’s politics, will nothave heard of Raja Petra Kamarudin -- or RPK, as he is fondly known by those who want to see change and dreaded disdain by the ones who fear change. He will be here in Canberra, large as life and several times as natural, ready to do what he does best: to strip down the misguided truths that strut the corridors of power in his usual no holds barred style. Unsparing of the discomfort it might inflict on the wrongdoers, unyielding in his quest to bring change. Hurl your questions, and be prepared for his responses - he often gives as good as he gets.
