Background • Sumber daya alam Indonesia berlimpah • Pasar dunia (termasuk Indonesia) produk berbasis material cerdas besaraplikasi sangat luas: kedokteran, alat komunikasi, peralatan berbasis elektronika, sensor/transducer, dll. • Fasilitas laboratorium (tersebar di Fak/Pusat Std/Lab Ref/LPPT) • Potensi kerjasama dengan industri atau institusi dari negara maju tinggi • Potensi menggaet dana tinggi

  3. UGM mempunyai banyak Pusat Studi dan Program Studi dengan SDM serta sarana laboratorium yang memadai • Berbagai Pusat Studi dan Program Studi tersebut telah merintis berbagai kerjasama dengan berbagai institusi berikut pendanaanya dalam skala nasional maupun internasional
