Essential Question How would you describe Canada’s economy?
Economy Vocabulary Province- a self-governing region Territory- large divisions of Canada that do not have the same rights as the provinces. Export- goods sent for sale to other countries Import- goods brought into the country to sale Protectionism- a government policy that calls for raising tariffs (taxes on imports) Free Trade- Trade without limits or protections Economic Indicators- a measure of a country’s economy and how well they live
