Add es to words like Bus = buses Bush = bushes Branch = branches
Words ending in f and fe lose the f /feand change to ves Leaf becomes leaves Knife becomes knives Wife becomes wives
Another suffix is ing Lose the e when adding ing. L
Words ending in e lose it Give changes to giving Dance changes to dancing Smile changes to smiling
There are other rules when adding the suffixing. For words having one vowel and one consonant you need to double the last consonant.
