Big Idea When we put on our new self if effects our daily life.
Ephesians 4:19 (ESV) They have become callous and have given themselves up to sensuality, greedy to practice every kind of impurity.
Ephesians 4:20 (ESV) But that is not the way you learned Christ!
1. We must put on our new self. HOW? • “Put off your old self” – v.22 • “Be renewed in your mind” – v.23 • “Put on your new self” – v.24
Application We need to turn from our past life and focus on God. What do you need to surrender to God? How does God need to renew your mind?
Lying - Zechariah 8:16 These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts;
Anger - Psalm 4:4 (ESV) Be angry, and do not sin; ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent.
