  2. “A Girl Worth Fighting For” Our speaker tonight is Doug Barry, the founder and director of the Catholic apostolate Radix, as well as a husband and father of six children. For more than a decade he has traveled throughout the United States and beyond spreading and defending the faith. With a dynamic and explosive style, Doug has spoken to thousands, young and old alike, through television, radio, and live appearances. He is probably best known for his direct, no holds barred approach to confronting the culture of death. He is also recognized for his one-man performance of the Passion of Christ, seen regularly on EWTN and other Christian channels throughout the world.Doug has had a fire for speaking to the young, with a special emphasis on the formation of their faith and character and what it means to have strong and lasting Christ-centered relationships. Give me patience to listen with sincerity and wisdom to answer with Truth. Help me not to insult that which is important to my child. Grant me opportunities, Lord. Help me always point to You. Let me teach courage in adversity and to learn from my child's simple faith. Cause occasion to demonstrate respect for the weak and those in authority. Give me the inspiration to forewarn my child of the world's evils and empty promises. Thank you, Lord, for the mother of my child. Through our love may we guide our child to know, love, and serve You. Help me be a good example to other fathers. May my entire family spend eternity with You through the gift of Your Son Jesus Christ. Amen
