  2. - Flea Markets - • Many people travel from all over to come to these markets. • You can find many antiques and valuable things here. • The markets happen in almost every town in Arkansas.

  3. Robert Hendrickson said that the word Flea Market comes from the Dutch Colonial days. • This was the Vallie Market, which was abbreviated to Vlie Market. • It came to be pronounced Flea Market. “One Man’s Trash is Another Man’s Treasure” at the flea markets. They are like one big garage sale!

  4. - Arkansas: Civil War Collection - • People from all around brought historical, and sometimes, most valuable items from family in the Civil War. • There are many letters, diaries, and a substantial amount of civil war military records.

  5. There is a documented book of all the Union and Confederate Soldiers.There is also 1911 questionnaires of Confederate Soldiers living in Arkansas. There are many Maps and Geographical battle plans Placed in this Museum.

  6. - Arkansas River - • This river runs into Colorado and has been one of the exceptional whitewater rafting since 1973. • Docks and Dams provide a great area for fishing to all.

  7. This river is known for it’s Stripers. The largest Striped bass was caught by Greg Myerson. It was 81.88 pounds. • This is bigger than the 1982’s 78.8 pound striper.
