  48. GET INVOLVED • The most successful students are those who GET INVOLVED in their school. • Join a club, an athletic team, a co-curricular team! • During the first few weeks of school, a club fair will be organized during lunch to allow students to sign up for clubs. Community Service (which is part of many clubs) is a very important part of your college admission/scholarship application.

  49. VIP • Clubs will be held once per month during VIP on a Friday. This is also the time for many other activities to take place, such as college recruiters, ILP’s, guest speakers, etc. • This year students will remain in VIP, with NO ONE allowed in the halls at that time.

  50. Connie’s Info • Internet Safety • Cyber Bullying TEACHERS: Go to the Peanut Drive • Open the folder labeled, “Internet Safety Videos 2014-2015” Right now, there are six separate videos in this folder.  Vera is working with Mike Thornsberry to see if they can be combined into one video.  Total running time is 25 minutes.  Our hope is that the teachers will only need to make “one click” and the videos will run sequentially.
