  1. FINAL EXAMINATON: PART I Directions: If you are a senior, this work is due by 3:00 p.m. on 29 May 2014. If you are a junior or a sophomore, you will need to turn in this work on Wednesday, 4 June 2014 at the beginning of the exam period. You will be expected to present at least one of your slides. If you do not turn in this work, you will probably earn a zero grade. Your presentation must be saved in Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Presentation. I cannot open any other program on my computer. Please use the following template. Don’t forget to delete this slide from your final presentation.

  2. Your Name Centered in 24 Point Your Manifesto in 20 point font. This manifesto must be at least 100 words long and present your statement about what constitutes art. You do not have to explain or justify; you must only declare. You may begin your manifesto by writing, “Art is…..”

  3. Rachel Bronwyn Art is constructed beauty. Art is an argument about what matters. Art is craftsmanship—a revelation of what is possible. Art argues “in spite of everything, yes!” Art is the human need to create something that reaches beyond the present, immediate condition. Art becomes a witness. Art at its most powerful robs the viewer of words, because art can communicate at a level beyond symbolic thought.
