Community Service. By: Wes Cobb. The Boys And Girls Club. The first place I did community service was at the Boys And Girls Club. Boys And Girls Club. Working at the Boys And Girls Club gave me a chance to give back to the community by playing with kids when they got out of school.

  2. The Boys And Girls Club • The first place I did community service was at the Boys And Girls Club.

  3. Boys And Girls Club • Working at the Boys And Girls Club gave me a chance to give back to the community by playing with kids when they got out of school. • The Boys And Girls Club is an organization which gives kids a place to stay while their parents are at work in the afternoons.

  5. Goodwill • The next place I visited was the Goodwill Thrift Store. • Goodwill is an organization which receives donations from people all over the world. People donate clothes that don’t fit them anymore and Goodwill sells them for extremely cheap. • This gives a chance for people who don’t have a lot of money to buy nice clothes.

  8. BSU Blood Drive • I went to a blood drive put on by the Baptist Student Union on Campus here at VSU. It was given by workers from the Red Cross Association. • It felt good to give blood knowing that it could be used to save someone’s life.

  10. Things I have Learned • Doing this community service project has taught me to so much. • I have learned how good it feels to help others in need. • I have also learned to appreciate my life and how good I have it.
