  6. Loose Objects HAIR JEWELRY This includes LOOSE CLOTHING

  7. Gloves USE WHEN HANDLEING HOT OBJECTS

  8. NOISE • WEAR EAR PROTECTION WHEN WORKING WITH NOISY EQUIPMENT

  9. Fire safety • Types of fire extinguishers • Shop procedures

  10. Types of extinguishers CLASS A PAPER (WATER) CLASS B OIL (CO2) CLASS C ELECTRICAL(POWDER) CLASS D METAL MULTI PURPOSE (CLASS ABC)

  11. SHOP PROCEDURES FOR FIRES FIND THE CORRECT EXTINGUISHER SPRAY AT THE BASE CALL FOR HELP!!

  12. Students must ask permission to use machines!! MACHINE SAFETY ALL Students must pass safety tests before they use the machines!!! Proper safety equipment must be worn!!! Machines are to be left how they are found!!

  13. Before leaving the shop The Shop Must Be Cleaned THIS INCLUDES: Floors (Swept) Tools (Cleaned and put away) Desks & Tables (Brushed off) • Machines (Cleaned)
