How Long Can Spiders Live? Spiders can live up to twenty years. Theycan have up to 2,000 babies at a time. Shouldn’t we call a baby sitter? They can be as big as a large dinner plate.
What do spiders webs look like? Spiders make orb shaped or circular webs. They usually make their webs across an area, like from tree to tree. They feel vibrations in their web, then crawl over to their prey, due to their poor eyesight.
What do spiders eat? Most spiders eat insects. Some even eat mice. Here some of the insects they eat: • Mosquitoes • Flies • Butterflies and moths • Birds
What are some spider species? There is a kind of spider called the Vampire spider. It sucks your blood by eating the mosquitoes that have your blood in them. Some venomous spiders are The Brown Recluse, The Black Widow, and The Funnel Spider.
What are spiders habitats? Spiders live every where on land besides the Arctic. They like to live under things like rocks and logs, hang their webs from tree to tree, or underground.
Cool Facts • Males die during mating! • All females have kids a week or to after mating! • Spiders are able to spin sticky and non-sticky silk. They avoid walking on the sticky silk. In addition, spiders have claws on their feet that grip and release the webs threads as they walk. • Spiders have been sent into space!
