The Student Union Statutory in Finland Two campus, Helsinki & Vaasa ~2 000 members = all students @ Hanken Connecting link for its members The activities of the student union promote its members social, intellectual and study-related ambitions and efforts connected with the students role in society

5. The Delegation Highest decision-making institution Consists of 20 members in Helsinki and Vaasa Elected through general, secret and proportional elections every autumn Remember, even you should vote!

6. The Delegation Budget Plan of operation Elects the chairman of the board & the board Elects important union functionaries Compiles an outline for the union’s operation in general

The Board Consists of 7 members, all with their own area of responsibility Main purpose is to make sure that the student union offers services to it's members that are useful and wanted and that Hanken students intrests are looked after both in-house and nationally. Co-operates with other student union's and their board's Carla Westersund president@shs.fi

If you want to found a club you have to have a meeting with one chairman and two members There you come up with a name and what the club is for, all students have to have a chance to be a member of the club if they want to The Students' unions Board have to approve the club

Who are we? • We are located in the office section on the 2nd floor of Casa Academica • Secretary General Johanna Wikström • Highest official at the Student Union • Administers the office and is the secretary for the official bodies at the Student Union • Office Secretary Filip Sannholm • Assistant to the Secretary General and the Board of the Student Union • Administers the member service, office service, and the student card system

We answer questions concerning the Student Union Your Student (Lyyra) –cards can be picked up from the office during office hours (you will be notified when your card has arrived).
