Right now, I am using the Phantom 4 which I fly the most (when I’m not flying the inspire 1 of course), but the Phantom 3 UAV or Drone was my favorite one camera drone before the Phantom 4 came into existence and it’s still better in price compare to any other UAV or drone. I recommend you to buy a lighter and smaller UAV or Drone, so that you could learn the flying techniques before investing in a Phantom 4 UAV or Drone, but now with better flight characteristics and the built­in flight simulator, there really isn’t a reason to do that anymore. When I flew the Phantom 3 for the first time, all I could think was “this thing flies like a mini Inspire 1!”. It’s much more stable than the Phantom 2 and the video quality is exactly the same as the inspire 1, however there are some big differences between them. If you aren’t sure which one to buy, read this article comparing the two. FOUR PHANTOM 3 MODELS TO CHOOSE FROM The Phantom 3 UAV or Drone comes under four different models. At the top, DJI’s Phantom 3 Professional UAV or Drone comes standard with follow­me, GPS waypoints, optical­flow and ultrasonic sensors (for height and position hold when no GPS signal is available), 4K HD video recording, 20 minute flight performance time and more. The Phantom 3 Advanced UAV or Drone will do everything that the Phantom 3 Professional can do, but video recording is 2.7K instead of 4K. At $499, the Phantom 3 Standard is cheaper in compare to other Phantom 3 series. It has a cheaper controller design which was taken from the Phantom 2 UAV, absence of optical­flow or ultrasonic sensors, but still I like it too much, GPS waypoints and shoots 2.7k video recording. Phantom 3 Standard UVA camera price is just half the price, of 3DR Solo with a GoPro Hero 4 Silver and gimbal camera but quality still remains equivalent to both of these cameras. The last model which came out a few months ago is the Phantom 3 4K. It has the ability to shoot 4K. but at the same price as the Phantom 3 advanced. DJI INSPIRE 1 WITH 4K RAW VIDEO I am confident that, if you ever get a chance to see this drone, you’re going to want one for yourself. Inspire 1 UAV or Drone design looks like a spider makes it most professional came from a sci­fi movie. The DJI Inspire one UAV is probably one of the most advanced UAV or Drone comes with very advance features I’ve ever seen. It features are almost equivalent to the Phantom 3 Professional UAV, but size are bigger, having stylish look, and design are of supreme quality. It’s almost two times bigger and two times faster in compare to Phantom 3 UAV and with it’s unique design, the propellers will almost never be seen in your videos. . Additionally, the Inspire 1 comes with a 4K HD camera with HD video streaming on a 360 degree panning gimbal, which means that you can control the cameras motion of Inspire 1 independently. This makes it great for dual pilot operation, but in wind condition getting locked. I can’t cover everything about the Inspire 1 UAV in this article due to very huge different types of features list, but one thing that I will discuss you here in  this article is that this is not something that you would buy as a birthday gift for your 10 year old son. The Inspire 1 costs about $2900 and is mainly designed for people who want an amazing gadget for professional/aerial photography, videography etc. It also used for search and rescue operations by police department or rescue department. You can also use it for 3D mapping, or any other professional application. The Inspire 1 UAV is actually one of the easiest drones to use and fly out there. I don’t  know that you have a real use for this UAV, or you just want something that will impress all of your friends, but the Inspire 1 is definitely something which fulfils your requirements. YUNEEC Q500 4K If we Compared to DJI and 3D Robotics with Yuneec, Yuneec is an unknown company, but this dosen,t indicates that Yuneec is out of competition. The Q500 4K is the latest model of Yuneec and as the name implies, it shoots 4K HD video which is just equivalent to Phantom 3 and Solo. Although the Yuneec looks like a pool vacuum cleaner in my opinion, it has lots of superb features at price level of $1300. It comes with two batteries and a hand mount which allows you to take the camera (and gimbal) off the UAV to use it as a mini handheld stabilized camera system. $1300 is definitely a good price for what you’re buying, especially if we compared it to the Solo, though it’s not as cheap as the Phantom 3. As the Q500 4K isn’t super popular compared to the other UAVs, you won’t find a lot of necessary information and related videos about it yet, nor will there be any third­party accessories which is easily available available in the market, but that will not stop you from considering it as an option because the most interesting function of the Q500 4K is that it has a Android device which is inbuilt into the controller system, thatswhy there’s no need to use your tablet or smartphone, and the quality of the screen on the controller is definitely superb compared to an iPad or other high quality camera devices. Finally If you makes a plan of buying the Q500, make sure that you get the new silver and black 4K version, because the original Q500 has a 1080p HD camera quality which was not so good as compared to Q500 4K UAV. 3DR SOLO The 3D Robotics Solo UAV is easily handled by an individual with very high quality features. It has many features which are very similar to the Phantom 3 but it uses the GoPro Hero 4 instead of using inbuilt camera which means that you can take the camera off and use it for whatever you want. The biggest difference between the Solo and almost any other ready­to­fly camera drone which makes it different from other UAVs is that it is modular/upgradable and still easy to use. It has a gimbal bay and an accessory bay which means third­party companies can easily make new gimbals along with other accessories but currently no accessories or gimbals are available. https://theuavblog.com/ 5/6
