Complete information - Fields with * are required. Notices will be sent to the email address entered; verify spam blockers will allow receipt of emails from senders ending in usda.gov .
After submitting information the system will send an email notice to ACTIVATEthe account. This must be done within 7 calendar days.
Last Step:Visit your local FSA Office to complete verification by matching your ID to data entered. Upon completion, your ID will be activated and electronic access to FSA will be available.
Advantages of electronic access Faster Service- Forms and data submitted real-time. Save mailing time, paper, faster turnaround. Access to FSA’s Paperless Systems- Loan Status Reporting, Loan applications and closing documents, Access to borrower’s account Information, Loss Claim Submission and Interest Assistance Renewals (coming soon). Access to account information in FSA records. Electronically sign documents- Your USDA eAuthentication ID is your signature. Flexibility- No other software needed. Submit documents and images in: Word, Excel, PD, Web Equity Manager exported ZIP files, Images, and Text. Secure and Private- eFiling uses 128 bit secure socket layer (SSL) encryption technology used by many commercial banks in on-line banking applications. Social Security Numbers are not required if the only purpose for e-Authentication is submission of information to FSA. Any applicant who will using an authenticated ID for program benefits is required to provide a Social Security number.
Obtaining Access for Electronic Data Submission To participate in electronic reporting to Farm Service Agency (FSA ) complete the following: • Recertify using the FSA 1980-38 Lenders Agreement, dated 7-31-07, which includes the terms and conditions for lender participation in electronic data submission. • Ensure that all lender employees who need access to electronic reporting obtain a Level 2 eAuthentication ID and password. • Designate an employee(s) as a Security Administrator(s) who will act as a point of contact with FSA. • The following slides illustrate the eAuthentication process. Any user who already has a Level 2 eAuthentication account does not need to self-register again.
