Structural Funds (current) • Since 2007 we have invested £1 billion (£470m of EU funds) to help businesses • EU projects have already assisted nearly 11,000 enterprises, and helped create 6,000 enterprises and over 19,000 (gross) jobs • For example, JEREMIE has so far invested £110m to 500 SMEs, creating 1,600 jobs • ICT and innovative businesses specifically supported through structural fund investments in activity such as Business Wales, Business Innovation Support and HPC Wales • Businesses have also benefited by winning procurement contracts worth £500m to deliver the activities of EU projects Ewrop & Chymru: Buddsoddi yn eich Dyfodol Europe and Wales: Investing in your future Ewrop & Chymru: Buddsoddi yn eich dyfodol Europe & Wales: Investing in your future
