Merigraph® LTL& XTP Product Applications High Quality Graphics Using Capped LTL Plates Direct Print
What is LTL & XTP? • LTL & XTP are a 32 Shore A hardness product designed for printing corrugated boxes • The tack free properties are the best of any liquid photopolymer for the corrugated market • Capped LTL or XTP plates significantly minimize fluting on corrugated
Merigraph® LTL & XTP Technology for the Corrugated Market • Low-Tack, High Resilience • Ensures lint-free printing, excellent solids coverage, and easy clean up on press • UV Resistant • Ambient UV and white fluorescent light will not degrade LTL or XTP • LTL and XTP are Heat and Humidity Stable
Key Advantages • Very low tack properties • Excellent plate durability • Wide imaging latitude • Easily image a variety of copy • High resilience • Outstanding printability • Minimize fluting by capping LTL or XTP • Quality, Economy, Ecology • All the benefits of liquid technology

Merigraph® LTL & XTP Processing Guidelines • Merigraph LTL & XTP plates are processed the same as other MacDermid liquid photopolymer printing plates, but require an additional light-finishing step in order to ensure the tack-free properties
Ink/Solvent Compatibility • Merigraph® LTL & XTP photopolymer printing plates are compatible with the water and oil based inks used in the corrugated industry • It is not recommended for use with solvent based inks
Print Comparisons • For direct-print corrugated containers • LTL continually outprinted other plates • Lower dot gain • Higher solid ink densities • Excellent tone range • Long press life
LTL Reviews “This plate is extremely tack free” “One set of plates printed over 1MM impressions with no sign of wear” “The ink release is outstanding” “The plates clean up very easily” “LTL is one of the best products we’ve used”
LTL Reviews “Best liquid plate material I’ve seen in 25 years” “Truly tack free” “3.5 million impressions and only 3-4 washups” “Printed solids and fine reverses better than any plate I’ve ever used”
