Establishing a pilot solar energy station for training and awareness purposes, advocating alternative energy adoption, and fostering sustainability culture. The project targets Cherkasy's residents to increase alternative energy usage, promote energy efficiency, and enhance environmental awareness amongst the youth. Implementation includes solar system setup, educational tours, energy audits, and an Energy Club. ###

1. To create a pilot demonstration station using solar energy to produce electricity. The station will be used to conduct trainings for students, to raise awareness among the population and to facilitate popularization of technologies that use alternative energy sources as effective and economically beneficial among business executives and organizations leaders. 2. To showcase effectiveness of autonomous solar station on this particular example. 3. To save energy recourses in the university/college. THE AIM OF THE PROJECT
1. Increase the share of alternative energy used by Cherkasy residents. 2. To convince the city public that the only way to solve the problem of climate change is to take energy and resource saving measures in every sphere of modern life. To show that it is possible to use alternative energy sources in Cherkasy. 3. To raise awareness of ecological issues among the youth and to increase environmental culture that is a foundation of community’s aspirations towards the sustainable development. 4. To form the system of knowledge, abilities and skills to forecast the impact of a lifestyle and management on energy security in society. THE AIM OF THE PROJECT
Setting up the system of photoelectric modules, optimization of its operation, connecting it to the water purifying system. Preparation of tool kit for energy audit of schools participating in the project. STAGES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Educational tours to demonstrate operation of the station. Trainings for teachers in Cherkasy on teaching energy efficiency in schools. Energy audit in selected schools. Youth Energy Club foundation. STAGES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION
Running a contest among school youth for the best video and fairy tail on energy efficiency (March-October). Award ceremony is planned for November 11, 2017. Conducting energy efficiency lessons. Inviting impartial experts from competent institution (local government, mass media) to audit the station of photoelectric modules. STAGES OF PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

TECHNOLOGICAL SCHEME OF AUTONOMOUS ELECTRIC STATION 1 – Фотоелектричні перетворювачі (PS - модулі) – призначені для перетворення сонячної енергії в електричну енергію постійного струму. 2 – Контролер заряду – контролює потужність заряду, що надходить від фотоелектричного модуля на інвертор. 3 – Автоматичний інвертор – призначений для перетворення постійного струму, що надходить від фотоелектричних модулів у змінний струм для живлення стандартних електричних приладів (220В). 4 – Лічильник електричної енергії – призначений для обліку використаної електричної енергії. 5 – Акумулятор електричної енергії – призначений для зберігання електричної енергії. 6 – Споживачі електричної енергії (220 В)– конвектори, кондиціонери, установка з очистки води.
