  3. The year is 2038. Human civilzation has been devastated by a full-scale nuclear war. Radiation sweeps across the barren wastelands, making life nearly impossible. However, a few prepared people began new life underground, traveling below the surface of the Earth in old mine shafts. Here, man waited for the time when he could return to the top-world. Expecting to start a new era of peace, giant underground cities arose, and new tunnels were cleared. But competition for scarce resources has driven the survivors to war once again. Tunneling machines and resources have been turned into tools of war. Story and Narrative

Game Play • Players take turns moving the tunneling machine • The tunneling machine may tunnel three spaces per turn • The tunneler may move any number of spaces per turn in pre-drilled areas • Elements move at the end of each turn • Elements destroy the tunneler and damage cities • Destroyed tunneler returns at the start of every turn

  6. Challenges • Protect your city from elements • Tunnel so that elements destroy your opponent's city • Make sure your tunnel system doesn't backfire or is used against you

  7. Victory Conditions • Destroy your opponent's city before he destroys yours
