  1. The Crafty Foxes What are you putting in the gallery?

  2. You might do a picture inspired by a famous artist like Picasso. Do you have a favourite artist who inspires you?

  3. Maybe you’ll choose an artist like Gustav Klimt or Leonardo da Vinci and use their art to create something completely different…

  4. You might choose an artist like Wassily Kandinsky as the inspiration for works based around patterns and contrasting shapes and colours.

  5. Will you takeyour inspiration from the natural world instead?

  6. Collage gives you the chance to get really creative – what could you use or recycle for your creation?

  7. Origami – the crafty foxes would definitely approve!Remember that you can recycle those old football cards to make enough flipping frogs for a game.

  8. The winter months are a perfect time to get cosy indoors with some sewing or knitting – find out what hidden talents your family have to share!

  9. Have you tried weaving yet?You can make a weaving board from cardboard, or use a paper plate or coat hanger for circular weaving.A God’s Eye is another great yarn craft to try too.

  10. Air-dry clay is great for a range of projects at home and can be painted when dry.

  11. Don’t forget the hours of fun to be had with a toilet roll!

  12. There are so many ways to get creative at home; what other things can you think of? Our new Hall Gallery will have a space to showcase some of the great things you’ve been drawing, stitching, sculpting and painting at home, so get making!
