  1. ATTRACTIONS OFSYDNEY

  2. Sydney is a city on the east coast of Australia. It is the capital city of New South Wales. THE CAPITAL CITY

  3. I'll tell you about these attractions… In Sydney, there are many famous buildings:

  4. PORT JACKSON

  5. This place is the location of the first European settlement in Australia Port Jackson is the location of the Sydney Opera and Sydney Harbour Bridge.

  6. Many recreational events are based on or around the harbour itself particularly the Sydney New Year’s Eve celebrations. Port Jackson has continued to play a key role in the history and development of Sydney.

  7. There are several islands within the harbour, including Shark Island, Clark Island and, Fort Denison.

  8. SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE

  9. The Sydney Opera House is a multi-venue performing arts centre in Sydney, Australia, identified as one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings.

  11. The Sydney Opera House was formally opened by Elizabeth II,Queen of Australia, on 20 October 1973.

  12. SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE

  13. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is a steel through arch bridge across Sydney Harbour.

  14. The bridge was formally opened on Saturday, 19 March 1932. Jack Lang opened the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

  15. However, just as Lang was about to cut the ribbon, a man in military uniform rode up on a horse This man was Captain Francis De Groot. slashing the ribbon with his sword and opening the Sydney Harbour Bridge before the official ceremony began.

  16. On 14 March 1932, three postage stamps were issued to commemorate the imminent opening of the bridge

  17. LUNA PARK SYDNEY

  18. Luna Park Sydney is an amusement park located in Sydney. It is located at Milsons Point, on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour

  19. Luna Park was closed in mid-1979, immediately following the Ghost Train fire, which killed six children and one adult.

  20. Most of the park was demolished, and a new amusement park was constructed; this is originally operated under the name of Harbourside Amusement Park.

  21. Luna Park has the enormous smiling faces. There have been eight distinct faces, installed in 1935, 1938, 1939, 1946, 1950, 1973, 1982, and 1994.

  22. TARONGA ZOO

  23. The first public zoo in New South Wales (NSW) was officially opened in Sydney in 1884.

  24. There are 4000 animals ;)

  25. Sydney is very beautiful town. There are lots of attractions and wonderful places. I showed you some places in my presentation. They are the symbols of Sydney.
