  2. Intro Activity: • Individually, take 1 minute to list 10 of your favorite foods. • With your clock buddy, take 1 minute to merge your list into one with 10 foods you can both agree on. Write your list on chart paper. • With your partner, you have 5 minutes to draw a person that represents all the foods on your list • Be prepared to share your drawing.

  6. Assessing Your Understanding… • Take 2 minutes to read the first page of the Middle School Science scenario. • Identify the beginning activity used by this teacher on the first day of the unit on density and the evidence that supports the effectiveness of the strategy.
