  3. Why Cooking? I worked through all of high school in different restaurants, For five years I’ve worked in the food industry as a cook, and loved it. But then….. I realized later that this wasn’t the career for me. (I had no time at all for my family, or anything else) Page 3

  4. After working for many self employed chefs, I notice a pattern. The average self employed chef works.. According to the Human Recourses Department of Canada: The average Canadian works approximately 320000 hours a year. Page 4 The average chef works twice as much as the average Canadian!!!

  5. So I save this talent for my home. • With all my experience, I’m glad that I have the ability to make amazing meals, and use some amazing techniques and tools I’ve picked up along the way. • Now, I have all the time I need. Page 5 When I’m not in school!

  6. Mmmmmmmmm…….. • As you can imagine I’m looking forward to the big holidays coming up: • Thanksgiving • And Christmas • That’s when I get to shine! • Making the turkey, stuffing , soups, and my very famous toffee pudding date cake Page 6 Picture found on flikr.com
