  1. Welcome to American seal & packing Types of Gaskets Cutting and its uses- Aspseal

  2. About Us American Seal and Packing began as an answer to customers looking for alternatives. As an American company that sells primarily USA made products, we promote by American but buy smart. We apply this to every mechanical seal, gasket, O-ring, lip seal, gasket material and flexible graphite product we sell.

  3. American Seal & Packing is a leading manufacturer & distributor of Graf oil flexible graphite, gasket material, cut gaskets, mechanical seals, and quality O-rings providing innovative solutions to industrial mechanical seal problems. We do certify our fluid sealing products as made in the USA or only offer USA made seal products when specified.

  4. Die cut gaskets - If it’s used in Industry, Aerospace, Automotive or even a cell phone, the most common gasket is die cut. It’s the fastest per piece production method and will help to keep your costs down

  5. Lathe cut gaskets - This cost efficient production method allow us to convert a tube of rubber or Plastic (PTFE) into a round Inside Dimension x Outside Dimension gasket. This is done manually on a lathe. The advantage of it is that it produces very little waste material. The disadvantage is it can give you a bowed part (on plastics), of course that flattens when installed between flanges.
