Bozeman, MD Introduction Results Conclusions • There are numerous active researchers in many departments on the Jacksonville campus. • Posters are frequently used to present results at national and international meetings. • High quality posters are mandatory and reflect well on the institution. • Costs of $200 - $300 per poster are usual for retail printing. • Standard, easy to use software (Powerpoint) is used by researchers to make posters. • Posters are printed on the large format printer at the media center. • Paper and ink costs are reduced to ~$15 per poster (5% - 8% of previous cost). • The Media Center, Public Relations Office, and others have access to a previously unavailable resource. • Research at the Jacksonville campus will be supported and improved. • Research budgets can be directed toward research, not presentations. • The national academic visibility and reputation of the institution will be increased. • Local users will have a new resource. Materials and Methods Discussion or Refs • The Dean and the Office of Reseach Affairs have obtained a large format printer for use by researchers on the Jacksonville campus. • The printer is located in the Media Center. • Software templates are available in the Media Center.
