Candidates pre-assessment is a process through which a candidate completes a part of the job application process. Before the actual interview process, there is a need for one more step, the pre-assessment step. This step is required to collect all the applicant information related to a defined set of skills that all applicants must have this. Psychometric assessment: The psychrometric test helps to measure the suitability of a candidate for a job role based on the personal character. Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or MBTI, Likert scale, Caliper are most widely used psychrometric tests. MBTI determines the preferences, perception and decision making skills of candidates. This test also determines the pattern of human behavior and categorizes them into four different personality types. Likert scale is the tool to determine the positive and negative responses to a specific statement. So this bipolar testing method helps to measure these personality traits of the candidates. Caliper is another tool to measure potential, natural strength and motivations of the candidate.
