Marriage is definitely a dream of all individual. However, in most of the marriages, the surname of women changes and needs to be updated in the Aadhar Card. Some people also move to a new city and wish not to have old details on Aadhar. In these cases, Aadhar details should be updated with the new details. For this, UIDAI has introduced Adhar Card Correction where a self-service update portal is available over the internet where an individual can update the details after the marriage or moving to a new location. For this update, it is necessary to have a registered mobile number for the OTP (One Time Pin).
