Author to Complete eMedRef Topic This powerpoint will take you through the second portion of this timetable (Draft outline).
Author Instructions • Review the Author Instructions. • This can be found on the FPIN website, under the eMedRef tab in the eMedRef Resource section. • Familiarize yourself with PEPID online. • Login: fpinauthor Password: pepidpcp • If youare updating a topic, copy/paste the content into a word document. • If your topic does not already exist in PEPID, begin your work on a blank template. • This can also be found in the eMedRef Resource section.
After you have done all of your research you are ready to put it into the template. • You can find a blank one in the eMedRef Resources on the FPIN website.
After your draft is ready to be submitted, your next step is to complete the Author Checklist. • It can also be found in the eMedRef Resources on the FPIN website. • You will need to submit it along with your draft to your senior editor and Denise Hooton.
Once you have completed your first draft and the Author Checklist, you are ready to submit to your senior editor and Denise Hooton. • For the next step in the process, continue on to the next powerpoint module.
