GIG Content Delivery Capacity Services • GCDS Objective: Obtain global content delivery as a capacity service with end user performance monitoring at DISA-approved locations • Will utilize capacity service approach • Including delivery at the “edge” of the networks • End user performance and availability monitoring • Capacity Services: Capacity Service contracts provide scalable capability utilizing an on-demand service approach for GIG Content Delivery Services, with vendor owned/maintained equipment, that will readily adjust to the Government’s requirements (increases and decreases), and is priced on a utility ("as used") basis or tiered structure.
GCDS (continued) • Anticipated Start Date – 4th Quarter, FY12 • Predecessor Contracts – HP Capacity Services (HC1013-07-D-2004) • Anticipated Small Business Involvement – Full and Open Competition; a Subcontracting Plan required from Large Businesses • Anticipated Contract Type – Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award • Potential Task Order Awards –TBD
Enterprise Storage Solutions Capacity Services • ESS Objective: Obtain dynamically scalable storage capability at all DISA-approved locations both in the continental United States and outside the continental United States (CONUS and OCONUS) • Utilize an “on demand” capacity service approach for new equipment • Provider will acquire, install, de-install, transport, configure, maintain, and provide all necessary hardware (including cabinets/racks/cabling/cable management/PDUs), related software and services • Government will maintain day-to-day operational control
