What is UpGrade? • UpGrade is an easy-to-use, interactive assessment product that identifies any gaps in students’ understanding and aims to fill them immediately.
Key features of UpGrade • Interactive topic tests, assessments and remediation for the Edexcel GCSE Mathematics specifications. • Content is arranged by specification, topic and tier. • Students take tests onscreen and receive instant feedback, as well interactive activities to help improve their understanding.
Key features of UpGrade – part 2 • Questions within the assessment tests have been graded by examiners, so the feedback offers an indicator of how the student might perform in the real exams. • Available as either an online subscription with more advanced reporting, or a once-off-payment VLE Pack which sits on the school VLE.
A typical sequence • Teacher assigns a test to a class • Each student logs on and completes a test • The student receives feedback. • Students complete any follow-up activities • Teachers can view reports on the individual or the class
