Scoping Glasgow 2012-13 • Fact finding visits and sharing of DFP with LEAs • Examining DFP in targeted primary establishmentsin Glasgow • Analysis of collated service provision feedback
Findings • Established practice in LEAs. Model varies. • Within Glasgow, organisation and approach in primaries varied considerably. • Feedback on GDSS support very positive. Requests for more generic, practical strategies in addition to in-depth training
A systemic approach across educational establishments is required to ensure quality and consistency of support Universal and targeted support delivered in tandem Conclusions
