BUBBLES Bubbles Some bubbles rise up to the sky Some bubbles don’t I don’t know whyEasily popped by just one touch Easily missed by way to much Metaphor: Bubbles raising up to the sky.
SWIMMERS’ STROKES silently slipstreaming, Simon’s swimhuffing heavily Harry hurries himPete plods, pants, pushes, paddles past Luke languidly lashes, lumbering last Alliteration Silently slipstreaming, Simon’s swim
SNOW • Snow speaks to the people itsfalling above in the glooming sunlight.Its white sparkling voiceechoes as it falls throughthe air. Personification Snow speaks to people.
Where the Sidewalk Ends • There is a place where the sidewalk endsAnd before the street begins,And there the grass grows soft and white,And there the sun burns crimson bright,And there the moon-bird rests from his flightTo cool in the peppermint wind. Hyperbole To cool in the peppermint wind
