Modelled on Callimachus’ Aitiaand Aratus’ Phaenomena Aeneid – 12 book epic poem Modelled on Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey and Apollonius’ Argonautica Works spuriously attributed to him in the Appendix Vergiliana, but only one might actually have been written by him. Catalepton the name and style shows influence from Callimachus.
