  5. Key Terms – Pre Check • Before you read place a symbol to the left of each term • After you read and take notes put symbols to right of each word Check mark = heard of it Zero = never heard of it. Don’t know anything about it Plus sign = know it and can explain it to your friend

  6. After you are complete… • Be sure to include at least 1 illustration / drawing • Highlight the main ideas
