The curriculum implemented in The City School incorporates higher order thinking skills, multiple intelligences, technology and multimedia, the multiple literacy of the 21st century, and authentic assessments. • Education in the 21st century is laced with a project-based curriculum for life aimed at engaging students in addressing real-world problems, issues important to humanity, and questions that matter.  Long Term GOALS

To facilitate independent learning, students will create a database. • I will reinforce the main components of database using Questioning Technique. • 4 groups will be formed. • I will give them guidelines to select a database from daily life. They will create a table, form, queries and reports on a paper. • I will facilitate the students by observing and monitoring. • Students will be encouraged to use internet, other resources or discussion among group members to present their work in the following week. • 10 minutes will be given to each group to showcase their work which will boost their confidence and improve the communication skills. 3 minutes will be reserved for the questions from the audience.
