Introduction This storyboard “tells the story” of the Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJCCCS) CD-ROM (version 1.0) Project The project is in cooperation with the Newark Teachers Union (NTU) and Seton Hall University (SHU) Storyboarding is a common technique used in CD-ROM development to capture the data, components, scope, scale, and applicable features of the project, resulting in a completed disk The CD-ROM is intended to be distributed for educational purposes throughout the state, all rights reserved by NTU and SHU Will have a resident search engine created with Search Maker Pro™; no licensing requirements when used for educational purposes

Strands Strands are organizational tools that help teachers locate specific content and skills 164 Strands Under each strand is a number of cumulative progress indicators (CPIs) The CPIs provide the specific content or skills to be taught and are cumulative The progress indicators begin at a foundational or basic level and increase in complexity as the student matures
