  3. Purpose for ACCUPLACER Diagnostics • Provide institutions with detailed assessment of a test taker’s skills in English & mathematics • Tests can be administered as a follow-up or before the ACCUPLACER placement tests

  4. The ACCUPLACER diagnostic assessment is paired with proven MyFoundationsLab remediation. This powerful combined experience enhances college preparedness and student success.

  5. Students get the results of their ACCUPLACER Diagnostics immediately after finishing each test.

  6. At the bottom of each student’s Diagnostic Test Result report, they are prompted to access the Learning Path. Section includes: • Website URL • Course ID (so they enroll in the right course) • Locator Code: encodes performance scores in each test and domain.

  7. There are additional reports for faculty and administrators

  10. My Foundations Lab

  11. Students enter their Locator Code at www.accumfl.com

  12. Students enter the remediation tool. Click on the Learning Path.

  13. Students determine which module they want to work on first.

  14. Within each module are a series of topics.

  15. Students can work through the activities for the module topics.

  16. The activities include: Reading

  17. Videos

  18. Animations

  19. Practice Assignments

  20. Activities for Writing

  21. Practice and Low-stakes Assignments

  22. with immediate feedback

  23. Assignments also include a variety of learning aids for just-in-time help.

  24. As students complete each topic, they observe their progress on the learning path.

  25. Students can demonstrate topic mastery by taking a Mastery Quiz.

  26. Students are also asked to complete a section on study skills.

  27. Focus on Study Skills

  28. Educators and administrators can track each student’s progress in an exportable gradebook.
