Proposal for 2019 Mammography Education Symposium • Improve and standardize mammography positioning in Newfoundland and Labrador • Educate technologist leaders to continue to train and support mammography technologists throughout the province • Train The Trainer program (T3)
Proposal for 2019 Mammography Education Symposium • Mammography Educators, University of California San Diego • Founded by Louise Miller and Amy Chatten in 2013 • Extensive clinical and administrative experience in all aspects of breast imaging focusing on establishing high-quality, consistent methods of breast imaging • Provide mammography positioning training, Train-the-Trainer programs, mammography conferences • Mission is to develop high-quality, consistent methods for breast imaging • Mammography Educators seeks to standardize mammography positioning in Newfoundland, and in turn, improve image quality and breast cancer detection rates across the province.
