Two-Tier Approach Schedule Monday – Thursday 3:45 – 8:15 p.m. • Academics – Different core area teacher available each day of the week • Individual Counseling Friday 11:30 – 4:00p.m. • Group Counseling & Community Intervention
Two-Tier Approach Costs Current Program $167,670.50 Two-Tier (evening costs) $ 32,689.20 Total $200,359.70
Two-Tier Program Pros • Separation of general student body from AEDY student population • Guidance and social work services • School & community collaboration • Enhance WAHS school culture • Enhance WAHS morale • Improve community perception
Two-Tier Program Cons • Transportation • Staffing • Students would not be able to attend the WCCC or access special programming in art, music or other electives, however, cyber options could be explored • Special education services may not be able to be provided to the level required so those students may need to be served in the daytime program
