Conclusion ■The Role of a Memory Institution - An increasing emphasis on the archives as a ‘memory institution’, a body – along with libraries, museums, galleries, etc. – with a responsibility for main- taining humankind’s recorded memory ■ The Gold Mine of Korean records heritage - From collection to connection - Accelerating efforts to collect overseas records relating to Korean history, in particular, about the early historical records of Korean immigrants around the world
