Founder and President Stephanie Mitelman, M.A., CSE AASECT Certified Sexuality Educator Stephanie Mitelman is an AASECT certified sexuality educator. She is a national trainer on issues of sexual health; training teachers, nurses and front line workers across the country. Above all, her work focuses primarily on prevention issues and healthy relationships. More importantly, as a sexuality education specialist, she also works with individuals and couples with special
needs, with a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders. Also, she has a private practice, and writes content for curriculum and classroom kits. In 2005 Stephanie Mitelman joined with past members to relaunch the Sexual Health Network of Quebec (formerly Planned Parenthood Montreal). She is also a Part Time Faculty member at Concordia University in the Department of Applied Human Sciences. In 2013, Stephanie Mitelman was award the First Tracks Award For Innovation in Sexology. She was recognized for her ground-breaking sexuality education resources that address the learning styles of youth with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs). As an authority on and advocate for sexuality education for youth with ASDs, Mitelman creates innovative workshops, publications, and teaching tools. She also is one of the few educators in North America helping adults with ASDs and their partners to build relationship skills.
