My monster is called Nessie of Loch Ness. It is supposed to come fromThe Great Glenn, an enormous gash in the earth that splits the Scottish Highlands into two.
Nessie has a long, tapering neck, about 6 feet long, and a smallish head with a devious look about it, and a huge hump behind. Its length is estimated to be about thirty feet. It`s a friendly creature, as long as people don`t disturb its peace…
Nessie seems to have appeared in 1933 after a new road was built along the edge of the Loch. Then was the time when the number of reports from residents increased. The first of these came on April 14 when the owners of an inn in Drumnadrochit, the Mackays, observed an "enormous animal rolling and plunging" in the Loch.
Nessie doesn`t have any special qualities or powers, apart from the fear it causes to people, since it`s only an animal, therefore something people cannot fully understand.
The reason why this monster is my favourite, is because of its quiet character and the fact that it is believed to be real… The end
