EMEA Marketing Help Desk: Designed to provide outbound, proactive marketing support Background • Symantec is in the process implementing campaign creator as a tool for their partners, but they need a marketing service to support the partners in building and executing of campaigns Objectives • Increase the number of partners engaged in effective lead generation campaigns • Increase the number and value of leads generated by partners • Increase partner satisfaction with Symantec • Drive solution selling focus and activities with partners and product selling focus as necessary • Support the smooth implementation of campaign creator to Symantec partners FY11 Small Business Overview & Objectives

EMEA Marketing Help Desk - Three Key Roles that the Agents Can Play • Engage partners to begin advisory dialogue • Inbound: Be on hand to answer immediate questions as the partners are attempting to execute campaigns • Outbound: Proactively call partners to encourage them to try executing a campaign • Coach and counsel during campaign preparation • Simple explanation of campaign selection, preparation and execution • Portal ‘walk-through’ to demonstrate how easy it is to select, personalize and execute tactics • Trouble-shoot – suggest list sources, media plans, targeting etc • Follow-up and maintain momentum • Obtain feedback about campaign performance • Gather learning about issues, problem resolution, successes • Encourage planning for next campaign phase • Feedback to Symantec Partner Management Team Become Trusted Advisor to Partners and Provide Management Support for Symantec
